What fun! MAA kicked off the Christmas season this weekend with our annual Christmas Festival and Breakfast with Santa. Students, faculty, staff, and families gathered in the Dorothy McCormick Gymnasium on Friday for a fantastic afternoon of games, raffles, and fun. Students could choose from a myriad of activities staffed by MAA parents. It was so great seeing everyone come together to celebrate, share some holiday cheer, and give back to our local community. For the second year in a row, MAA ran a winter coat drive in the weeks leading up to the Christmas festival. The drive will continue through January 6th and will be donated to Coats for Kids. A huge thanks to our Home & School for making Friday such a special day.
Festivities got started on Sunday with a beautiful Mass at St. Ignatius Church. After Mass, we all gathered on campus for a delicious breakfast and some quality time with Santa! Students got to sit on Santa’s lap and drop some Christmas gift hints. Our students and families had a great time catching up, doing arts and crafts, and playing games, as well as raffles. We could not have done this without our dedicated volunteers. Faculty, staff, families, and even alumni and alumni parents joined forces to make this year’s breakfast with Santa one to remember. A special thanks to our cooks for providing such a great meal!
