Festivities kicked off with a rally in the gym where students got the chance to show their school pride with chants and a whole lot of cheering!
Our Principal, Mrs. Barbara Plunkett presented the Coach Dorothy McCormick Award. This annual award goes to two sixth graders who embody the spirit of Coach: motivated, ready and willing to step-up and help without being asked, and consistently positive. Congratulations to the two well-deserving winners!
Following the rally, students ran off to any number of fun activities. From a water balloon toss, to knock out and tug-of-war, our students got a chance to showcase their friendly and competitive spirit. We had such a fun day and cannot thank the Home and School Association enough for planning a such a fantastic Field Day. A huge thank you also goes to all the parents and alumni who volunteered and teachers who helped make sure everything ran smoothly. We have the best community!
