No one knows the value of quality creative time better than Mount Alvernia Academy’s Second Grade class. In fact, the Second Grade class love their arts and crafts so much that they wanted to chip in and help some kids just like them in our community share in the fun.
With the help of their teachers and room parents, the Second Grade class put together craft kits for the children at Horizons for the Homeless, a program dedicated to improving the lives of homeless children in Massachusetts.
The packages included all the necessary supplies for craft time and notes from MAA students to the children at Horizons for the Homeless. A big thanks to the MAA Second Grade Class, their parents, and teachers for embodying our mission to live not just for ourselves, but for others!
