The Patriots may not have won on Sunday, but the Mount Alvernia Academy community rallied together for a game-changing drive of their own last week. Two fourth grade students spearheaded a canned soup drive during Catholic schools week last week, dubbed the “Souper Bowl.” Embracing St. Francis and St. Clare’s spirit of service, the MAA community donated almost 700 cans of soup to Catholic Charities, far surpassing our goal of 416 total cans of soup (52 cans per grade). We are extremely proud of these students for their initiative and the school community for coming together for a good cause!
